Over the past few years I have been experimenting with Linux, in particular Ubuntu.  I always liked the idea of FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) but could never really use it because I was always tied down by the applications that I use, primarily Photoshop. Now that I’m an intern for the LaC Project, my life has taken a new and exciting turn for the better, and so has my technological skill set. Now roughly seventy five percent of my computer usage is online, in the cloud. Therefore I have the flexibility of using something like Ubuntu because all I essentially need is a web browser.
